v2.0

New features

  • Swift package. Add one package and your app has the board, the changelog and the vote button.
  • Messages in your own app. Write a notice once and the app you shipped shows it, and counts the reads.
  • Sort comments. Read a thread newest first, oldest first or by the most liked.

Improvements

  • Getting started. A short guide opens on your first visit and ticks itself off as you go.
  • Only what is new. Filter the board down to the cards with activity you have not seen yet.
  • A customer whose plan has lapsed can always export their own data.
  • The voter import finishes the import it offers.

Fixes

  • The Add Feature button works in a column with nothing in it yet.
  • Two boards marked read at the same moment keep all of their marks.
  • The filter button draws above the icon beside it in Safari.

v1.6

New features

  • Public API (major). Read and write your board over HTTP with the key the project already has.
  • Put the board inside our own site. One script drops the board, the changelog or a vote button into your site.
  • Hold new suggestions for review. Nothing a stranger writes reaches the board until you have read it.
  • A reply from you, not buried in the comments. Your answer sits at the top of the card, in public.
  • What is new since last time. A card stays marked until you open it, and the count sits in the sidebar.
  • Block a voter. One voter stops being able to comment or suggest, and can still read and vote.

Fixes

  • A crowded card no longer squeezes its unread count into nothing.
  • A suggestion nobody approved no longer appears on five public pages.
  • The board shows whole columns and never part of one.
  • The public pages can be used from the keyboard again.

v1.5.1

Improvements

  • The card detail panel looks the same wherever it opens.

Fixes

  • The top panel on every page matches the roadmap it sits beside.

v1.5

New features

  • Undo. Move, reorder, approve, deny, pin or archive a card and take it back with one key.

Improvements

  • The whole app on one design system (major). Every screen rebuilt on the same tokens, the same components and two themes.
  • Usable on a phone. Every screen usable at phone width with nothing running off the side.
  • A message on every move, so an action never happens silently.

Fixes

  • The board pager stays inside the screen on a phone.
  • A tab strip scrolls instead of hiding its last tab behind an arrow.

v1.4

Improvements

  • Onboarding reads the plan you are actually on rather than the one on the account.

Fixes

  • A suggestion waiting for review stays waiting when the service restarts.
  • The pending board keeps its order instead of reshuffling on every load.

v1.3

New features

  • Is this person still paying. See whether the person asking for something is still a customer.

Improvements

  • The voter panel shows that status beside everything else it already knew about them.
  • The trial is thirty days and Stripe runs it, so the two can no longer disagree.

Fixes

  • Changing an owner's role no longer withdraws the approval on their cards.

v1.2.1

New features

  • SSO for voters. Sign a token on your side and your users vote without a second account.
  • Light mode on the public board. A light palette beside the dark one, both in your own colours.

Improvements

  • The theme a visitor lands on. Choose light, dark, or whatever their system is set to.
  • Downgrade should wait until the end of the period. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the period already paid for.

Fixes

  • A session cookie is marked secure wherever the site is served over HTTPS.

v1.2

New features

  • Stripe Customer Import. Bring your customers in and keep them current through the webhook.
  • Most wanted page. A public page listing what people have asked for most.
  • Roles. Owner, editor and viewer, checked on every route and not only in the interface.

Improvements

  • Show the reason when you decline something. A denied card carries its reason on the public board.
  • Release assignment in bulk. Put a stack of cards in the same release in one go.

Fixes

  • A dangerous action asks for your password before it runs.
  • A comment that fails to send says so instead of disappearing.

v1.1

New features

  • Dark mode. The whole dashboard in a dark palette, and it remembers the one you chose.
  • Search. The filter runs on the server, so it finds cards past the first page.
  • Weighted voting (major). Some voters count for more than one, and the board can rank on that.
  • Custom Kanban boards. Build your own columns, drag cards between them, and share the result.

Improvements

  • Effort on a card. A card carries an effort figure beside its votes.
  • Pinned cards. A card can be pinned to the top of its column on either board.
  • Live activity. The activity page updates while it is open instead of waiting for a refresh.

v1.0

New features

  • Voting board. People vote on a plain list instead of a roadmap, without signing in.
  • Replies and likes on comments. A comment can be answered, and liked without writing anything.
  • Merge duplicates. One card folds into another and keeps its votes, comments and views.
  • Custom domain. The public board answers on your own address, and its certificate is issued for you.

Improvements

  • Bulk actions. Select a stack of cards and move, tag or delete them in one go.
  • The sidebar on a phone. It opens over the page and closes when you pick something.
